1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, registering for, or using My GLP-1 Sidekick (the "App" or "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (the "Terms"), which form a binding agreement (an end-user license agreement, or EULA) between you and My GLP-1 Sidekick. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account and do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service.
2. Subscription and Billing Terms
My GLP-1 Sidekick offers auto-renewing Premium subscriptions sold through the Apple App Store. Current offerings:
- Premium Monthly — $9.99 USD, billed every 1 month.
- Premium Annual — $59.99 USD, billed every 12 months.
Prices are charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Local prices and taxes may vary by region and are displayed in the App before you confirm. Subscription length begins at the time of purchase and lasts for the period indicated. We may change prices with advance notice; price changes apply only at the next renewal.
3. Automatic Renewal Disclosure
Your Premium subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price, unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Renewal continues at the same interval and price as your original subscription until cancelled.
4. Cancellation Information
You can cancel your subscription at any time by going to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your iOS device and selecting My GLP-1 Sidekick. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you will retain Premium access until then and will not be charged again. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Refunds, where applicable, are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.
5. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, My GLP-1 Sidekick and its affiliates, officers, employees, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or health outcomes, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
6. Medical Disclaimer
My GLP-1 Sidekick is a wellness, education, and tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Content in the App, including AI-generated tips, meal ideas, and reminders, is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice from a qualified healthcare provider. Always consult your physician or other qualified provider before starting, stopping, or changing any medication (including GLP-1 medications), dose, diet, exercise routine, or treatment plan, and with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or seen in the App. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or emergency services immediately.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
- Upload content that infringes others' rights or violates anyone's privacy.
- Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
